Your vehicle…It’s a love thing and we get it. That’s why in a commitment to provide you with peace of mind while you’re behind the wheel, we offer you TRINRE’s Emergency Roadside Assistance – our 24-hour service for all comprehensive motor policy holders.

 

What is included?

Your TRINRE Roadside Assistance benefits at the site of your emergency or breakdown includes:

Towing Service

Towing and removal of your vehicle provided it is immobilized due to damage or mechanical causes.

Flat Tyre Change

For this you must have a spare tyre in good condition, in addition to your car’s jack spanner so that the roadside professional can put on the spare tire on your vehicle at the scene.

Emergency Refuel Assistance

If you run out of gas, get fuel delivered directly to your vehicle so that you can comfortably get home or to the nearest fuel station. You only pay for the cost of the fuel. The delivery and service are free.

Locksmith Service

Provision of a locksmith service at your cost in the event that your keys are lost, stolen or locked inside your vehicle.  If necessary we will tow the vehicle to a safer location.

Battery Booster Assistance

In the event of battery failure, the roadside assistance professional will attempt to jump-start the battery at the scene to help get you on your way.

Note: The number of roadside events we cover per 12-month period should not exceed your policy limit in order for coverage to apply.

What is not included?

  • Transportation between Trinidad and Tobago is excluded.
  • Special vehicles are excluded. Only unloaded private and commercial vehicles up to 3 tons are MGW (maximum gross weight) are eligible for TRINRE Assistance.
  • The cost of parts, fuel or other supplies.
  • Labour at any garage to which the vehicle is taken.
  • Maxis, taxis and motorcycles are excluded.

Coverage is subject to terms of your policy. Always read your policy contract for full terms and conditions.

Guidelines

We want to ensure that the use of TRINRE Roadside Assistance service is easy for you, so please follow these guidelines:

  • If you have purchased this coverage with your policy it is available 24/7. Simply call 800-TRIN (8746) , provide the vehicle registration number, the name of the policy holder, and the representative will dispatch a roadside assistance professional right away.
  • Unload your vehicle before service is provided.
  • Ensure all your personal items are removed and secured.
  • TRINRE’s Emergency Roadside Assistance service provider is 800-4TOW Limited. Verify that the service is provided by a bonafide TRINRE Roadside Assistance provider as TRINRE will not compensate for services supplied by any other provider.
  • A total of 3 call outs are allowed per calendar year.
