TRINRE Caribbean Champion Stakes
TRINRE Insurance Company Limited supported the Arima Race Club by sponsoring their racing program Saturday 26th October, 2019.
This decision was made in response to the Arima Race Club’s compelling vision to stimulate the sport through a transformation plan that is focused not only on financial results but also on job creation and retention, while simultaneously contributing to sustainable diversification of the economy.
The main attraction of the day was the prestigious TRINRE Caribbean Champion Stakes in which eight of the best horses contended for the coveted Champion Trophy and $75,000 prize money. Apocalypse, owned by Anthony Wight and trained by John O’Brien emerged the winner in an exciting finish.
TRINRE, an indigenous CariA- Rated insurance company, hopes that their sponsorship will encourage other sponsors to join the Arima Race Club in their quest to revitalize the “Sport of Kings”.
